I have an old school friend living not quite in San Francisco but nearby. She and her husband drove in to catch up. We went out to Muir Woods which is a national park north of San Francisco across the Golden Gate bridge.It is a very pretty wood and we did a short hike enjoying nature and the warm weather.
The trails through the woods are paved by concrete or wooden boarding making it a nice easy stroll.
